BIO
KARMAN TRUJILLO (Carmelo Vera Trujillo) is an emerging artist with a deeply visceral work, characterized by an unwavering commitment to the exploration of the unconscious and the intangible. From his beginnings in the visual arts at an early age, he obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) in 2012, over time he consolidated a solid technique that allowed him to delve into "automatisms" as a method of liberating the subconscious and a vehicle for genuine creation.
His style, influenced by the classical art of the great masters, symbolic art and surrealist art, seeks to transcend the limits of the material and the rational, exploring the spiritual and metaphysical dimensions of human existence. Each of his works proposes an introspective experience, inviting the viewer to discover multiple interpretations and layers of meaning through a careful and reflective look.
In her compositions, human and organic forms intertwine naturally, evoking a journey to the deepest recesses of the mind. Her pieces function as a dialogue between the conscious and the subconscious, between the visible and the mysterious, proposing a visual landscape where the spiritual and the dreamlike find a point of confluence.
